About Nicole foundation
Nicole Ahumuza RUBONDO, 16, died on 18th January 2020 following a road accident in Kasese District during her Senior 4 academic vacation. The death of Nicole was not only devastatingly untimely but also an infliction of insurmountable pain to everyone that knew her. From family members, neighbors, to the church fraternity; from children that previously attended primary school with Nicole to fellow senior students at King’s College Budo and the Budo fraternity at large – the candidate classmates of 2019 and the teachers. The painful loss of the life of Nicole can never be described by any amount of words. During her short life on Earth, Nicole distinguished herself extraordinarily. From a very young age, her conduct both at home, the neighborhood, the church and school demonstrated admirable leadership qualities underlined by both passion and compassion. For those that attended her burial at the ancestral home in Mbiriizi, Lwengo District, the eulogies and testimonies demonstrated a stark acknowledgement that the family of Nicole and the country at large had lost an extremely promising citizen.
